20 Tiny Toes and 20 Tiny Fingers
Not one little blessing…but two. These little toes are from a brother and sister who came in for photos at just a few weeks old. Talk about having your hands full!
Getting twins to sleep at the same time is quite a job. I can’t imagine being parents of multiples and trying to get them do this daily.

The nice thing about working with twins is that when one needs to be fed or comforted…I can simply take photos of the other.

Double the fun with these little ones. I am excited to have been a part of their first official photo session.

On Display at Overlake Hospital

My work can be seen at Overlake Hospital in the Mother Baby and Labor and Delivery areas. I just freshend up my display of 45 images that line the hallways with about 12 new shots. How adorable is this dad cuddling with his newborn son. He was so proud of his little guy.

I didn’t just stick to newborns with the photos I chose to add. There are lots of families who visit new moms with their babies. Plus, the doctors and nurses seem to like the variety when I include all ages of children and various family groupings in my display. This little girl has firey red hair and amazing blue eyes. She is as cute as they come and has a darling personality to match. The color photo below is of the same beauty.

A December Wedding to Remember……

Who would have thought that I’d be photographing a bride and groom outside in December? Despite temperatures in the 30’s, Desirae and Casey braved the chill outside Lord Hill Farms for many of their photos. While my assistants and I were in coats and gloves….Casey kept holding Desirae close to keep her warm. They were amazing to work with as their genuine love for each other made them oblivious to the near freezing temperatures. They even rallied their family and wedding party outside for group photos.

We did go inside to warm up and take advantage of the beautiful twinkle lights and romantic atmosphere that Lord Hill Farms had created.

What can I say but …….VA VA VA VOOM!!!

I loved this shot…..

So, there it is….my first BLOG for Kelly Chandler Photography….let me know what you think. I would also like to give a special thanks to an amazing, talented, creative and funky photographer friend of mine April Greer www.aprilgreer.com who inspired me to get with it and start a BLOG. Thanks Ape! This is going to be fun.
Also THANK YOU to Bob Meador at Cultivate Design www.cultivatedesign.com for his design work and guidance on putting a face lift on my website and designing the BLOG site for me. He nailed this BLOG layout in 1 shot….and it was exactly what I was invisioning….now that is impressive.
