Vision of the day

A few weeks ago, I had the privilege to document Britni and Rashawd’s wedding day.  The event was spectacular and the resulting photos showcase the beauty, romance, and excitement of their day.  I am thrilled to debut my first on line slide show to give you just a little glimpse of the day that April, Tammy and I spent with them.   I hope you enjoy viewing some of the special moments that we had the pleasure of witnessing.

Tanis and Mike….

After a few weather delays, we finally got the opportunity to photograph an engagement session for Tanis and Mike.  The session took place at Mike’s parents property on the Plateau.  My favorite spot was this little red chicken shack on the outskirts of the property…yes there really were chickens running around nearby.

Time to call it a day and ride off into the sunset.  I have always wanted to photograph a bride and groom riding away on their wedding day on a motor cycle with the wind blowing her veil.  What do you think Tanis?  Up for it?

This Senior High School student was confident, funny, and obviously beautiful.   Our shoot had such a variety of serious, pouty, funny, smiling photos that she is going to love the results.  For some reason, I was particularly drawn to her pouty and serious looks.  I think she looks remarkably like Angelina Joli.  I half expected Brad Pitt to walk around the corner…I would have died by the way.   Here are just a few of my favorites…..don’t worry Mom, there are LOTS of smiling shot coming on your DVD.  I just thought these were so striking, I had to post them.

I recently spent a lovely day with my dear friend and fellow photographer, April Greer.  She is a Photoshop Wizard.  I asked her to teach me a few of her tricks.  These are some of the more dramatic looks.  April has helped me to expand my creativity, challenged me to become the best photographer I can be, and inspired me to take my work to the next level.
